I got my start, painting faces on paper, as a child. It didn’t take long for me to decide to actually turn real faces into my real canvas. After living abroad in Ireland, I realized makeup was my passion. I graduated from the School of Makeup Art in Toronto and I began working as a make-up artist in film & television. Fifteen years later, I’m a seasoned makeup artist with extensive experience in film, television, commercial, print, bridal and, my personal favorite, red carpet makeup. Sitting still and putting your face in someone else’s hands can make you feel vulnerable, and I get it. I’m funny, caring and respectful of my clients needs. My side-kick Bear is with me most of the time (when he’s not doubling for Tina Turner’s wig and making big eyes at our clients). I’ve worked on many celebrity faces including Suki Waterhouse, Martha Wainwright, Lisa Ray, Tracy Moore, Tanya Kim, Pooja Handa, Caroline Rhea, Tamara Taylor, Henry Winkler, Hanson, Slash, Luis Fonsi & Peter Mansbridge to name a few. I’m completely dedicated to advocating and using cruelty-free beauty. In 2016, I met and worked with Camilla on a series of lifestyle & advertising photoshoots in Cuba. An experience that has bonded us forever (for too many reasons to share here…) When I’m not changing the world, one beautiful face at a time, I can be found chilling with my rescue animals, glass of wine in one hand, good tunes and home-made vegan amaze-balls in the other.
